Savannah weighs 31 pounds at 34 months
Luke weighs 24 pounds at 15 months
For a combined total of 55 pounds!
The next time I have to carry these two sleeping babies on each of my shoulders, up a flight of 13 stairs, 3 months pregnant carrying a diaper bag and unlocking the door, I will be reminded of what a wonder woman I am, and how God is watching me every step of that journey. He is always with me, checking my balance, giving me strength and patience. It's moments like these that I feel blessed, blessed that I am able to carry my children, blessed that I am healthy, blessed that I have two strong legs, blessed to be a mother, blessed to feel winded, blessed to make it to the top and lay my babies to rest. I'm the type of mommy that does not want to interrupt their naps, just in case they fully awaken and end up skipping their precious sleep. I can do and proud to do it. Of course, I don't plan to do this little exercise, but on a rare day, it needs to be done and I am able to do it. The part I find amusing is that the girl I was before I had children would never have even given this duty a second thought. She would have considered this type of mom silly. Ha! The Lord has changed me into a better person.
