Those of you that know me, know for sure that I am not a morning person. I was especially cozy, warm and snuggled in the middle of our king size bed this morning. As everyday comes, I have recounted many stories about the different ways the kids awaken me up in the morning. I recall that Savannah once tickled my feet only to find out later that day, she had actually been painting my toenails with a Sharpie.
So this morning, snuggled up in dreamland, I heard Luke crying. I recognized the cry as one that needed attention right away and he wasn't going to stop. I gave thanks to God for the day that is to come and climbed out of bed, walked into his room and there Luke was in all his glory...out of his crib, standing on top of his dresser, naked. I really had to take a moment to take it in. He was naked standing right on top of his dresser. No pj's, no diaper and crying. He's never climbed out of his crib before so this event was quite surprising and blog worthy. I scooped him up into my arms and noticed he was standing in a puddle of pee...awww, Luke...I love you.
Does this kind of thing happen to anyone else???
