Yep, my due date has come and gone...April 2nd.
Yesterday, Judd, Savannah, Luke and I spent oodles of quality time together.
We went shopping for last minute baby things. We bought...
Onsies - pink ones that I chose, and white ones that Judd chose.
A white nursing bra, the kind one sleeps in, made by Medela...ooh so comfy!
A few baby blankets. Savannah may or may not want to share her baby blankets.
Cute, and pink baby socks
Judd really wanted to buy a bulb syringe. I reassured him we would get one at the birthing center. I know because I asked.
Bibs. Olivia will wear bibs from the very beginning. Luke didn't want anything to do with bibs and I ruined half of his clothes. Shame on me for not instilling the habit sooner.
An outfit for Olivia's ride home and her first pictures.
We ate a quick lunch courtesy of Taco Bell's drive through. I didn't want to lose time and energy, so we ate in the car. Luke slept and Savannah sat on my lap in the front seat. Very cozy, indeed!
The four of us headed to the gym to let the kids play. It was Luke's idea. He was shouting, "Play! Play!" in between verses of what sounded like The Alphabet Song. I've been singing The Song to him at least once a day, and he's been making up his own version. He melts my heart when he sings.
At the gym, I dribbled the ball a bit and shot a few two pointers! It sure felt good! Savannah witnessed my shot go in, she jumped and squealed, "Mommy, you did it, it went in! Daddy! Mommy did it!" I had a little cheerleader! Shooting around didn't throw me into labor, but I did realize that I can do a lot more physically than I allow myself to do at 40 weeks!
Back at home, I packed the suitcase with the Olivia's things for the birthing center. I can't wait to meet her! I placed her homecoming outfit over my belly, I think it's going to fit. I tucked her socks into the suitcase, picturing myself slipping them onto her teeny tiny baby feet.
I'm really excited about having great nursing bras! With Savannah, I had two Medela bras that I wore the life out of. With Luke, Judd was kind and bought me two bras from Target which I also wore way more than I should of. (Am I really blogging about nursing bras?!?!) This time, it's my last pregnancy and I am going for comfort. Yes, people, I AM EXCITED ABOUT MY BRAS! When my mommy comes to visit, it's the first thing I'm going to ask her for, another bra, maybe she'll get me two!) (I must say that I can justify blogging about bras because 'Cool Brenda' made her appearance on the basketball court yesterday. :D )
And just to be funny, I put one of the basketballs under my shirt, so that I looked double pregnant. My crew was impressed. :)

Girl - you are so funny! And I could designate an entire post to nothing but the joy of a good nursing bra (or the angst of a bad one...) Love my Medela's. (Found some good deals on eBay, btw)
I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET OLIVIA! What a precious name. You and baby Olivia are in my thoughts and prayers. *hugs*
I love the name Olivia, although I am sort of surprised you didn't go with Savannah's choice (wink, wink).
I'm pretty excited to see your baby!
If it makes you feel better, I wrote a few posts about nursing pads. I think posting about bras might be a step up.
I was just reading this post (post-David), wondering, "Who the heck is Olivia??" Then I realized, DAVID was Olivia. Ha!
