Summer learning, plans and fun

I'm super excited to report back to my blog!

Our last day of MOPS has inspired me to start planning my summer, What?! you say, you haven't planned your summer and you're just now starting?!

Yeppers, you got that right!

So here we go...our goal, Judd and I, is to teach our kiddos about the US Presidents! Now we totally feel like parents. If you had told us back in college that this is what we'd be excited about...we would've choked on our crackers.

So the plan...

US presidents, what they accomplished, and we'll talk about what good habits they had. We'll even polish our own good habits doing this. It's a win-win situation.

We'll also learn about the States, and their location. This will all be very elementary, the kiddos are only 4, 2 and 1, you know.

I also want to introduce the food groups this summer. Maybe we'll talk about how Abe Lincoln liked to eat grapes.

These few topics just opens the door to so much conversation. I can hardly wait. Of course, we'll spend our fair share in the pool and seeing as many friends as we can.

Most important of all, I really want to teach my kiddos the importance of giving and serving. A lesson I did not learn until I was an adult. Who knew life could be so fulfilling when we live under His word!

I really have to apologize for my grammar, I just don't have time to go through and make this read pretty, I've got babies to love, feed, hug, kiss, referee, discipline aling with other multifarious things.
