The kids are growing right before my eyes. When does the wonder and awe stop? I wonder if most moms by now have fallen into the groove, a routine, habit and stopped wondering? I sure haven't. I still hold my babies close, kiss the tops of their heads and picture the first time I held each one of them.
Savannah carries her pink and white blankie, the very one she's had the day she was born. I clearly remember swaddling her in it.
Luke is SO CUTE! I came home from a MOPS Steering meeting last night, he and Savannah were super excited when I came through the door. Savannah yells out, "MOM!! We have a June bug!!" I love seeing that pure excitement overflowing from her. Luke stood on his tippy toes from the excitement, and shouts, "JUUUNE BUUUG!! JUUUNE BUUUG!" His clenched fists were shaking! And to make him even cuter...he was wearing his pajammas. :) Hee. Hee.
And here is David in a nutshell:
He's cute, he smiles, he poops, he's cute, he eats, he's cute, he sleeps, and he's cute! He may have rolled over once... I was in the kitchen making sandwiches for lunch while Luke and Savannah were watching a Sesame Street DVD, David was on his back on a blanket close by. I called the kids in to eat and they raced into the kitchen. When I glanced at David, he was on his tummy! The kids might have made a quick stop to flip him over, but they ran in so quick I don't think they would've had time to do it. So David MIGHT have rolled over. It's been about 3 days, and he hasn't done it. Hmmm...
The fun never stops around here.
It's time to start thinking about CDO, pictures, clothes for the fall, and potty training Luke.
I truly felt like a mother when I mended Luke's teddy's ear. Sewn by hand. :)
